Heriose is a French single malt whisky created by Remi Boinaud, combining gourmet elegance with influences from France and Scotland.
Originating in the south-west of France, its prolonged finish in barrels of Pineau des Charentes gives it a distinctive pastry signature, combining spices and gourmandise.
Tasting notes :
Eye : Colour golden yellow.
Nose : Gourmet aromas : vanilla and honey. Fruity: walnut, coconut, cooked plum, nut, fig. Spicy : cinnamon.
Palate : Fruity ans spicy notes. Honey sweetness. Smooth tannins. Gourmet experience.
100 % French barley.
Double distilled in small traditional stills.
Aged for 2 years and 6 months in Bourbon casks, then over 1 year in Pineau des Charentes casks.
Local water drawn from a depth of 280 m.

Accompanied by roquefort & dried fig toast and dried fig, or served with dried fruit and nut.
